L.A. Times Book Festival, Fair or whatever, 2007. . .

I grew up reading

Mr. Bradbury's fabulous works.

I imagine the week's worth of wages I spent

for a vast bag of books (that he graciously signed!) will contribute little

to his funds, but his joyous demeanour knew naught of cash; he was obviously overjoyed

to know that people still appreciate

his timeless tales!

The southern California poetry tent was found at the other end of this tucked away-glen.

I doubt either venue will be found at Javits come the end of May. . .

(New Yorkers know what I mean, natch.)
